Somos Latinas Luncheon 2026:
A Room Full of Drive,
Culture, and Connection

Rose Harper Law attended the Somos Latinas Luncheon presented by Community Bank at Adobó Latin Kitchen in Easton, PA — and left with full notebooks, new contacts, and a renewed sense of why this kind of gathering matters.

March 18, 2026 started like any other Wednesday — until we walked into Adobó Latin Kitchen in Easton. The Somos Latinas Luncheon, presented by Community Bank and hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, had already filled the room with conversation, laughter, and the kind of energy you only get when people show up as their full selves.

Located at 2429 Nazareth Road, Easton, Adobó Latin Kitchen — owned by Francis Ferrer — provided more than just authentic food. It provided a space where Latina professionals from across the Lehigh Valley and beyond could gather with purpose.

Our team at Rose Harper Law sat among attorneys, healthcare providers, builders, nonprofit leaders, financial advisors, and event professionals. What stood out wasn’t just the diversity of work everyone does — it was how quickly those differences faded into shared purpose.

“Being in a room where Latina professionals aren’t waiting for permission to lead — they’re already building, advising, healing, and creating — reminds us why representation matters in every industry.”

Who Was in the Room

The Somos Latinas Luncheon brought together Latina professionals from across sectors that shape how our communities live, work, and heal. Different day-to-day work. Same underlying drive.

Why We Show Up

We don’t attend events like this just to hand out business cards. We go because community isn’t something you claim on a website — it’s something you show up for.

The Lehigh Valley moves differently from New York City or Philadelphia. It’s tighter. More personal. In places like Easton, making intentional space for Latina professionals to connect, trade ideas, and actually listen to each other matters even more — especially when so many of us are navigating fields that don’t always reflect our backgrounds.

Connection That Goes Beyond the Room

Lunch ends. Plates get cleared. But the conversations don’t have to. What happens in rooms like this usually ripples outward — into partnerships, referrals, community projects, and quiet moments of support when someone’s navigating a tough season.

The conversation at our table about navigating legal and medical systems as bilingual professionals — that one stayed with us. There’s something powerful about being in a room where you don’t have to explain why language access matters, because everyone already understands.

In places like Easton and across the Lehigh Valley, the Latina professional community is building something real. Not waiting for a seat at the table — bringing their own chairs, their own expertise, and their communities with them.

That’s the kind of connection we believe in. Not transactional. Real. If you’re building something in your corner of the community and want to trade notes, swap resources, or just grab coffee sometime, our inbox is always open.

What We Took Away

A few things stuck with us long after the plates were cleared:

💪

Latina professionals are already leading — not in theory, in practice

Across sectors that shape how our communities live, work, and heal. The room was proof of that — no one was waiting for permission.

💬

Conversations weren’t transactional

People asked real questions, shared actual challenges, and left with concrete next steps instead of vague “let’s connect later” promises.

🏦

Support showed up in the details

Community Bank’s sponsorship wasn’t just a logo on a banner. It was thoughtful facilitation, intentional networking, and a clear focus on lifting others as you climb.
